It is boring and slayer is a skill, it’s kill x monster y times and go here. It is precisely the same as chop x quantity of trees for y xp. Why do you need an npc to tell you when, whenever you want you may kill creatures. That is the reason why I don’t get accounts with more than the exp to get 99. Sure, for those who get a large kc on cerb which makes sense that you’ve like 15m exp, however the people with 50m+ that make fun of me for being maxed at 93 slayer… I didnt get the tasks that I wanted, so I really did what I wanted rather than
New content is always recycled PvM mechanisms from rs3, we see new quests, lore, or any new level skilling updates. Perhaps one day.Honestly that is quite alright with me, means that they were able to use RS3 as a makeshift beta test for RuneScape, just bringing over the stuff they know works well and can be balanced. That being said I’ve never played RS3 so it’s new to me, if I played with a ton of RS3 earlier OSRS I bet I’d find it a lot more annoying. That the thing that is atleast will probably go with the quest. Finaly moving out that newcomer quest region a bit.
I remember a questionnaire being for clues. I voted against it, since it didn’t specify a limit for how many could be stacked. I’d be fine with storing a few, like your proposed amounts, to ensure a hint drop doesn’t mean you need to stop your current undertaking to complete it instantly in the event that you want additional hints. I just don’t want infinite clue stacking to stop people from stockpiling loads of them to get efficiency-scape clue farming in contrast to the periodic breaks they are meant to be. Twisted league showed that the clues that were stackable were broken. It was certainly fun to have the ability to finish an Abby demon task with heaps of hard and elite clues, and do more than 100 clues in a sitting, but just like a lot of league relics, its simply too far from the original concept of OSRS. I would love WT chilly protection or the resource transport relic, but both were nice at the league but no location in the game.
And on another note, hint rewards would be devalued because there are hints coming into RuneScape. They worth doing is, and even with a limit of five or so it is still enough to create an impact. Leagues was outstanding because the steps were guaranteed to be in a single small area of RuneScape. I mean, seriously, switching gear is bothersome and teleporting out, but it doesn’t take that long. I don’t believe doing them all at one time and doing every clue when they fall would require that much longer than rescuing them up. The real benefit was being able to do all the measures. I have serious doubts that being able to take 3 hards or two elites simultaneously could be game-breaking.
