We’re a few of the men and women who make Old School RuneScape. Before this week our whole game studio (Jagex) began working remotely, so we thought we would use this time OSRS gold to answer any questions that you might have. This was a diversion of RuneScape since it had been in 2007. Since then there have been weekly content patches, lots of expansions, and in 2018 we ported the game to iOS and Android devices. You may ask us anything, however we would request that you visit our Support Centre if you have some issues regarding your RuneScape accounts or things like that. Thank you!
Yeah, we have seen participant numbers leap up a ton since last weekend – finally, we’re blessed to be in the position where we can offer something for folks to be able to devote their time in this catchy covid-19 situation. Same goes for twitch viewership also, we’ve kept an eye on how many folks are seeing Old School related flows plus they have increased so aswell. Do you have? On how many people are playing this week vs 23, I’d really like to see the numbers or at a chart.
OSRS is known both by players and non-players because of its art style that was consistent, nostalgic. How do you maintain this art fashion consistent through the last few years if something did not match the style and what would you do? I’d say that it isn’t very consistent. You find some rather fluctuating styles and approaches Should you take assets from different years up to 2007 and from 2013-now. One of the principal projects the art group is currently working on right now is trying to hammer down exactly what makes something’Old School’ and what are those aesthetics that give you them nostalges. (just made up that word.)
Is to try and keep design procedures as honest and open as you can. Whenever we can and show players it on socials we share artwork. We are always open to opinions and comprehend that this is an evolving process (and match!) Even jaltok jad to tztok jad. We aren’t in 2007 lol but not a thing that is bad. You guys do do really well with listening to feedback if something is out of line with player expectations. Some of the comments they get is really toxic but they always do a fantastic job of revising models after player response.
We used to get heatmaps that revealed you player focus over the map. I wouldn’t know if we have those. Players were surprisingly good at covering the map because it blocked unless the square was completely inaccessible. This said, that little near the very top of trollweiss mountain didn’t find that much traffic.I bet those rock thrower trolls are rarely, if ever killed by gamers to buy old school rs gold. I meant more the one from which you go sledding. As it’s a pursuit area, each participant is mainly seen by it after.Jagex confirms They Have a Runescape backup
